About Textomap
Textomap turns content into interactive maps. A user pastes text such as an itinerary, article, class material, post or email, or supplies an image, a website link, a CSV file or an AI prompt, and the service finds the locations mentioned and plots them on a shareable map. It supports more than 28 languages, and hovering over highlighted words in the source text brings up location information and editing options.
The product is aimed at travel planners, teachers, bloggers and publishers who want a map without working in spreadsheets or GIS tools. Maps can be shared by link or on social networks, opened in Google Maps, exported or imported as CSV files and, on paid plans, embedded in other pages. Textomap also offers a Chrome extension and a WordPress plugin, and a separate Teach with Textomap offering that gives each student an individual account.
