Traceable

Traceable is an application and API security platform that discovers, tests and protects the APIs and applications an organization runs. It captures and correlates activity across the whole API estate over time, building an inventory of internal, external, partner, shadow and rogue APIs, and uses that context to find vulnerabilities and detect attacks. The platform is organized around posture management, security testing and runtime protection. Posture management provides continuous discovery and risk insight, now extended to MCP tools and AI applications. Security testing is built from real and replayed traffic and integrates into the software development lifecycle. Protection covers the OWASP Top 10, business logic abuse, bots and DDoS attacks, along with prevention of sensitive data disclosure. Threat hunting and security analytics give security operations teams and red and blue teams a way to investigate attacks and fraud as they occur. A section on generative AI APIs addresses the risks of applications built on large language models. Deployment can be self managed on premises, in a customer cloud or as software as a service. It is aimed at security and engineering teams at larger organizations with many APIs to govern. In February 2025 Traceable announced a merger with Harness, and the company now presents itself as Traceable by Harness. Pricing is not published.
