About Wave
Wave is an AI note taker and recorder that captures meetings, phone calls, lectures and conversations, transcribes them with speaker labels, and produces summaries and action items. It runs on iPhone, Android, Mac, Windows, Chrome and the web, and also on Apple Watch and Wear OS, with a single recording syncing across devices.
It is built for professionals, students and teams who want a record of a conversation without taking notes by hand. Capture options include in person recording on a phone, phone calls through a Phone Bridge on iPhone and Android, scheduled Zoom, Meet and Teams meetings through a calendar bot, and microphone plus system audio capture on the desktop apps. Transcription covers 76 languages. Summaries can follow formats such as meeting notes, executive summary, sales call, lecture notes or interview, or a custom template, and sessions can be shared by link, where viewers can read, listen and ask Wave questions about the content. Exports go to PDF, OneNote, email and other destinations. The vendor states that it does not train AI models on user recordings on any plan, including the free tier, and that it holds SOC 2 compliance.
The Free plan is $0 and includes 30 minutes of recording per month. Pro offers unlimited recording and transcription at $80 a year, about $6.67 per month, or $15 per month. Teams is $7.50 per user per month with a minimum of five users, adding centralized billing and an admin dashboard. The vendor notes that prices may vary by platform and region.
