About Jua AI
Jua builds AI weather forecasting models and an AI agent for energy markets. Its flagship model family, EPT 2, produces global, hourly forecasts and is presented by the vendor as outperforming ECMWF, Google DeepMind and Microsoft models in its own benchmarks, verified against more than 10,000 ground stations. The family includes deterministic, early dissemination, ensemble, rapid refresh and high resolution variants, with updates up to 24 times a day, ensembles out to 60 days, and wind and solar power forecasts expressed in megawatts.
The second product is Athena, an agent that reads the weather models, market models, prices and a user's own positions, then produces briefings, alerts, backtests and power forecasts in one workspace. It is aimed at energy traders who want to see market moves before they are priced in.
The vendor targets three audiences. Energy traders use Athena and the early dissemination model. Utilities and renewable operators use asset level forecasts, actuals nowcasts, 5 km models over Europe and shift alerts. Hedge funds use deterministic and ensemble forecasts through an API and a Python SDK, with decades of history for backtesting. Public documentation covers the models, historical data, the SDK and API.
Pricing is not published. The site directs interested customers to contact the company, and no plan prices are listed.
